The yield-bearing wrapped version of iTRY. 1 wiTRY converts back to a growing amount of iTRY over time as yield from the underlying money market funds accrues — that growth is the staking yield you see on the dashboard.

iTRY is backed by tokenized money market funds that grow in value as they earn yield. The protocol mints additional supply proportional to the growth of assets held in reserves. That iTRY is locked into the staking contract, increasing the value of wiTRY in iTRY terms over time.

USD APY is the staking yield plus the lira's move against the dollar, annualized over a 7-day window. Small daily FX moves get amplified into multi-point swings.

Turkish lira money market funds don't distribute yield on weekends or Turkish public holidays. The shaded bands mark those days. wiTRY's value pauses on those days and resumes on the next business day — yield isn't lost, just deferred.

Because the lira tends to weaken against the dollar. A USD investor earns the full ~45% TRY yield but loses some of it back when converting profits to dollars. The "Net carry" metric is what's left after that drag.

Long enough to smooth daily noise (especially from frozen days and small FX wiggles), short enough that the number still reflects current conditions rather than ancient history. Shorter windows whip around; longer windows lag too much.
